Hope - Book Review

Hope
by Kealy Connor Lonning

The big wide world is full of challenges and surprises. It offers both good and bad influences. The children’s ability to adapt to life’s situations depends largely on how parents prepare them early on. It’s important, therefore, to instill moral principles in them while they are young. These values help them shape the person they want to be in the future. Learn from Kealy Connor Lonning on how she imparts positive vibes and morals in the book called Hope.

Hope is more than a bedtime story! It’s a book that imparts positive vibes on young children to prepare them for the life ahead.

Kealy Connor Lonning takes storytelling to new heights. In her little book, the author injects words of kindness, compassion, and other positive vibes into the young minds. But, she does it without imposing the matter. She presents two-line verses that contain common life challenges and positive solutions on how to deal with them. She applies rhymes to make the words sound like melody to the young ears.

The Author of Hope

Apparently, Kealy Connor Lonning attempts to prepare the little children for the inevitable challenges that life may bring. It’s a great idea, indeed! Especially in these times of trouble and chaos.

As parents put their little ones to sleep with this bedtime story, they also subtly instill the values contained in Hope. The short two-line verses are beautifully crafted. And, the illustrations are delightfully arranged to capture the short attention span of the kids.

Hope is, no doubt, a good book of values. It serves as a basic foundation for well-grounded and morally sound individuals in the future. Moreover, I like the author’s explanation of the images she presents in the book. They help parents to further expound on the message of Hope.

For these reasons, I give Hope a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend this book to parents with children 2 – 8 years old. The little words contained in Hope carry much weight.
