Mirrors of Life - Part 2: The Fight for Political Power - Book Review
Mirrors of Life - Part 2: The Fight for Political Power
by Neal Owens
"The Fight for Political Power" is the second installment of Owen's two-volume book. It's a continuation of Mirrors of Life: What is Your Life in the Mirror.
The story and plot of this book revolve around the quest for equality among all American people and fairness in governance. It's set in a political atmosphere. Derrick and his family discuss possible strategies on how to fight against an oppressive and racially-discriminating government. They know that the powers that be have a massive clout in key sectors, including in both Houses of Congress.
Although the battle seems difficult, the family believes they could find support from the masses and black communities in America. Standing on a solid foundation of faith in God. and focused on the slogan "Country before Party", Derrick's camp boldly visited the different black communities in the country. They educate the grassroots, making them understand the power of their votes.
Meanwhile, the enemy camp, headed by Erich Hornsby, continues to sow terror among the people, especially those who are not for them. Hornsby appoints a puppet in John Donaldson to run for president.
What will happen if the two camps clash? That's a thing you must find out for yourself. Mirrors of Life Part 2: Fight for Political Power is set to be released in the bookstores and online by mid-September 2020.
Also, if you haven't done so yet, you may read the first volume, Mirrors of Life: What's Your Life in the Mirror? to prepare yourself for the second installment.
Overall, I give Mirrors of Life Part 2: Fight for Political Power a rating of 5 out of 5 stars, and I recommend it to all readers.
